As a partner of the Toronto Rush, Cosmos Sports is currently promoting the “Sea of Red” for the Rush’s home playoff game on July 19th at Varsity Stadium. The Rush will be playing for a berth in the 2014 AUDL Championship Weekend in which they will attempt to defend their championship and win the largest share of the $25,000 player prize pool. Fans are encouraged to show their support and wear red for this game as it will be the most important game in the team’s young history. The Rush are currently undefeated on the season with an 12-0 record, adding to an impressive overall 30-0 unbeaten mark for the franchise.

The success of the Toronto Rush has extended off the field as well. Cosmos Sports has helped the Rush set a single game attendance record of close to 2,400, as well as a season average attendance record of approximately 1,000. The team’s fan base has developed recognizable faces at Varsity Stadium which includes “The Rushtache”, a following of energetic Rush fans distinguished by their red moustaches. The Rush also have been broadcasted on ESPN3 and featured in SportsCenter’s Top 10 Plays of the Week.

Cosmos Sports is responsible for the planning and organization of the 2014 AUDL Championship Weekend that will be held at Varsity Stadium in Toronto on July 26th and 27th. The Cosmos Staff is currently in the process of acquiring partners and reaching out to ultimate clubs in the Greater Toronto Area. The event expects to be fun and affordable for all, as weekend passes and single tickets are now available for a discounted rate.
