With a new year, comes new opportunity.
At Cosmos Sports and Entertainment we are excited to welcome a new semester of interns who will serve as our Sports Account Executives for the January to April term. The next four months will be a fantastic insight into the sports and entertainment world and a valuable internship experience that is sure to be unforgettable.
As a member of the Cosmos team, our Account Executives will have the opportunity to be involved in numerous facets of the sports and entertainment world, while also directly contributing to the business and our clients. With the help of our full time staff, these individuals will receive hands-on learning and classroom style training which they can use to further develop their skills in the industry.
When asked what they’re most excited for, our Account Executives had this to say:
“I am most excited about working with various scopes of businesses including: marketing, ticket sales, branding, consulting, corporate sponsorship, and event management.” – James Morris
“I am most excited to learn about the marketing and sponsorship strategies that Cosmos Sports uses to effectively support their wide variety of clients.” – Joel Spratt
The Cosmos Sports & Entertainment internship program is available from the months of January to April, May to August, and September to December. Our areas of focus include: Sales, Sponsorship, Marketing, Human Resources, Event Management, Consulting, and Digital Media.
When asked about the importance of an internship program, Cosmos President Cary Kaplan said:
“For us, just like sports teams, we feel we are only as good as our ‘player’ development. Many of our staff began as interns, and it allows us to teach people the Cosmos culture and see if they are a good fit for us in the future.”
He went on to say: “One thing we do with interns is provide them meaningful and diverse projects. While our expectations are high, for those whose integrity, attitude and work ethic are exceptional, it is a great springboard for a successful career in the industry.”
