Friday July 30, 2010:  During the week of July 23, Cosmos Sports President Cary Kaplan travelled down south to Texas to complete a Revenue Generation Training session with the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). After meeting with many Texan teams this past May, the Rockets contacted Cary to receive specific team training. This was a significant event, as it marked the first time that Cosmos Sports had provided revenue generation training to a NBA team.

Over three days of training, Cary offered many suggestions regarding the Rockets’ ticket sales, promotions, marketing, and customer service.

“The Houston Rockets are a tremendous first class organization both on and off the court. It was a real privilege to work with their office staff and assist them to be even more successful in the future.”

The next revenue generation training session will take place in New York City on August 13, with several teams in leagues including the National Hockey League (NHL) and the American Hockey League (AHL) scheduled to attend.

Cosmos Sports has trained over 300 teams in leagues in revenue generation and best practices.
