Whether you are the top athlete on your team or a solid and skilled contributor, there is a school out there for you: continue to play the sport you love while getting an education relevant to your eventual career goals. And, when hoping to get a four year education worth over $120,000 through an athletic scholarship, making a small investment to give yourself the best chance of success is an excellent investment in your career.

The biggest mistake aspiring collegiate athletes make is assuming that the coaches and recruiters will find them. Just because you haven’t heard from them doesn’t mean you’re not good enough to play – they just don’t know who you are! The reality is, given the sheer size and scope of athletics in North America, not to mention its geography, it is impossible for schools to scout every high school and club team with talented athletes.
