CSI 5 In The Books

Cosmos Sports has officially wrapped up its fifth Cosmos Sports Institute (CSI) training course, which was held over the last two weeks in Mississauga, Ontario.  Graduates received comprehensive sports sales training from highly experienced industry executives and heard from guest speakers including: Gerry Fonzo (Director of Ticket Sales for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats), Shaun Guest (Director of Ticketing for the Toronto Rock) and Paul Fruitman (Director of Sales and Marketing for the Toronto Nationals and former Manager of Consumer Sales for the Toronto Blue Jays).

The course also included site visits with the Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors, Toronto Marlies, Toronto FC and the Toronto Argonauts where graduates were able to see the facilities and learn first hand how the sports business operates.  By the end of the course, CSI participants were getting practical experience as they were selling actual tickets for professional teams.

CSI is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to make it in the sports industry as each graduates is guaranteed a job with a professional sports organization.  Being the only program of its kind in Canada, demand for more sessions has increased so Cosmos Sports is happy to announce that registration is now open for CSI 6 in Edmonton starting in March.
