Friday, April 26, 2013: In an event open to the Public, Brampton's professional hockey franchise unveils its logo (with a laser show!); and introduces the Coach, GM and Owner to the people of Brampton.
On Saturday April 27th 2013, Brampton Beast Hockey Club will hold a press conference at 11:00 a.m. at Brampton City Hall Council Chambers and introduce a fierce, aggressive "Beast of a Logo" to the Brampton community.
The logo is like nothing else that exists in Southern Ontario. While there is a fine history of classic, traditional and sophisticated logos, the Beast wanted to introduce a concept that is "Cool, Fun and Powerful". The unveiling itself will be a sight to see accompanied by an amazing laser show.
Those attending are asked to please not arrive late!
Following, the logo unveiling will be the first opportunity for Fans to meet and interact with Brampton native, new Head Coach and VP of Hockey Operations, Mark Desantis, President & General Manager Cary Kaplan, and Team Owner Gregg Rosen. The media questions will be followed by a Town Hall, where fans are encouraged to ask questions.
As well, the trip to the Stanley Cup Finals will be awarded to one of the 4 fans who submitted the name "Brampton Beast".
The event will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday April 27, 2013 in the Council Chambers, 4th Floor, Brampton City Hall, located at 2 Wellington Street. Parking is available underground.
