Friday, December 9th, 2011 On November 25th, the York Sports Business Association held its first ever Sports Business Conference, catered towards Accounting, Finance, and Marketing students interested in careers in the Sport Industry..
The Conference was held at the Underground at York University, and Cosmos Sports was there to provide industry leading advice and expertise. Cosmos President Cary Kaplan, and Director of Marketing Michael Miele were among the high profile speakers of the event. Representatives were also present from Hockey Canada, the Toronto Marlies, Toronto Argonauts, Hamilton Bulldogs, Hamilton TigerCats, and the Canadian Olympic Committee, all ready to share their knowledge and experiences..
Mike Miele participated in a panel on sports business operations and received this feedback from Hassan Valiji, Vice President of the York Sports Business Association:.
