Monday, December 30, 2013: Cosmos Sports is excited to announce that our relationship with the American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL) will continue to grow in 2014. Cosmos will be working with every team in the league for the upcoming season, focusing on corporate partnerships. Cosmos has worked with the Toronto Rush for over a year, establishing the most successful off field franchise in the league in their 2013 inaugural season. Cosmos set league attendance records and amassed an impressive sponsorship list that included Telus, Subway, and Dominos, along with many local partners as well.
Cosmos also worked with the Cincinnati Revolution in 2013 providing our Executive Recruitment services along with ticket sales and consulting support. Additionally, Cosmos was able to generate $20,000 in corporate partnership revenue for the league’s Championship Weekend in Chicago. Cosmos also consulted on ticket sales packages, pricing, and benefits, as well as game day operations
Cosmos will be working with all 17 teams in the AUDL, which includes six expansion teams, stretching across North America. This is a major deal for an emerging professional league that is still in its infancy stages. Cosmos has worked with many teams and leagues that have failed to see the importance of sponsorship revenue and with this partnership we believe we can help solidify the AUDL as the top professional ultimate league and continue to grow the profile of the sport across North America.
