Friday, June 11, 2010:- Cosmos Sports President Cary Kaplan travelled down to the Lone Star state of Texas to complete a Revenue Generation Training session with the Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League. Although Texas is better known for its cattle and blazing heat, the Laredo Bucks have gathered a strong following since their 2002 inaugural season.
Following his training session, Cary headed to the state’s capital of Houston on Friday to meet with three of the pro sports teams in the city. The Houston Astros from the MLB, Houston Rockets from the NBA and the Houston Aeros of the AHL all received Cosmos Sports’ help in order to maximize their revenues. Cary discussed such topics as expanding season ticket renewals, turning databases into fanbases, sales techniques, ROI for sponsors, being “a closer” and many more.
