Friday, February 12, 2010: The Toronto Nationals are a professional lacrosse organization on the upswing and Cosmos Sports is a huge reason for this trend. After joining forces in September of 2009, Cosmos Sports has enjoyed great success in building not only the Nationals brand but also helping to expand their public and community relations, staff hiring, ticketing and sponsorship initiatives.
First, Cosmos has worked closely with the Nationals hiring process whereby Paul Fruitman has been implemented as the Director of Sales and Marketing for the franchise. Paul brings many years of experience to the Nationals including his time as Toronto Blue Jays as Manager, Consumer Sales as well as Director of Ticket Sales for the Toronto Argonauts.
In addition, recent Cosmos Sports Institute graduate Mike McGhee has officially joined the Nationals team as a Sports Account Executive. Cosmos Sports has also played a large part in growing the Nationals sponsorship base. Helping the Nationals persue partners such as Boston Pizza, Booster Juice, LaX Shack, Dynamic Training, Sheraton Hotels and Powless Lacrosse.
As the start of the Major League Lacrosse season inches closer, Cosmos Sports looks forward to not only helping the Nationals with game day operations but also attributing in anyway possible to bringing another championship home to Toronto!
