With the Ultimate season well underway, Cosmos Sports’ partner the Toronto Rush are pleased to mark yet another milestone event in the franchise’s history.
This Saturday, June 13th marks the first Toronto Rush game to be played at Lamport Stadium. The Rush, who have called Varsity Stadium home since the team’s inaugural season, are moving to make way for Toronto Pan-Am events taking place this summer. With five home games remaining on the schedule, the Rush will be playing out the final games of their 2015 home schedule at their new location in Liberty Village.
For this Saturday’s Eastern Division matchup, the 0-9 Philadelphia Phoenix will be taking on the division leading, 8-1 Rush, with the opening pull slated for 6:00pm.
With the Rush promising all the excitement and energy of a home opener, there will be numerous giveaways, contests, and half-time entertainment to keep the crowd on their toes throughout the evening.
An additional aspect of this move to Lamport, is the introduction the Steam Whistle sponsored Beer Garden. This additional viewing area located at the end zone will have Steam Whistle craft beers available for sale, while also offering a unique viewing point of the action.
