Laura Lighthall - Sports Account Executive
Laura recently graduated with Honours from the Global Business Management Post-Graduate Program at Humber College, and is excited to jump into the business world of sports at Cosmos. While studying for her B.A. at Mount Allison University, New Brunswick, Laura competed with the Mounties varsity women’s hockey team as the Assistant Captain.
With a passion for sports, she enjoys cheering for her favourite teams, the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto FC, and Blue Jays.
Through an internship with Cosmos, Laura is looking forward to learning from her co-workers and gaining valuable experience in hopes to pursue a career in sports marketing.
During her time at Cosmos Sports this summer, Laura has been working on the
GoSportNet.com account where she is responsible for weekly blogs, social media, and working to increase revenue for the site. Laura is also contributing to the Festival of Football team in event marketing and building awareness to the public for the charity soccer tournament.
