Director of Sales & Service
Justin began with Cosmos Sports in 2012 as an Account Executive while finishing his studies at Humber College in the Sport Management Program. In his initial role with Cosmos, Justin was heavily involved in a number of diverse ticket sales accounts for both sports and entertainment clients including: The Brampton Beast, Edmonton Eskimos, The Queens Plate, The Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra, and Theatre Aquarius. In 2013 Justin was brought on as Cosmos Sports’ Sales & Marketing Coordinator, where he continued to lead a number of successful ticket accounts, most notable of which being the 2013 & 2014 Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra renewal campaigns, which generated over $200,000 in revenue across the two years.
Subsequent to the highly successful 2014 HPO campaign, Justin was brought on as the Director of Sales & Marketing for the newly formed lacrosse organization: The Canadian Lacrosse League (CLAX). In this role he was responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of the league across all five markets in which it resided. In addition, Justin was successful in procuring both league-wide and market-specific sponsorship deals, increasing overall ticket revenues for the league, and ensuring the successful execution of game-day operations for all five teams.
In the latter part of 2016, Justin was involved with several different Cosmos projects, most notable of which were ticket sales accounts for both the Vanier and Grey Cup events taking place in Hamilton & Toronto respectively. Over the course of eight weeks, Justin co-managed a team of four individuals, and actively assisted in the generation of over $70,000 in revenue for the events.
As of January 2017, Justin has been introduced into a new role as Sales & Marketing Manager for Cosmos Sports. Concurrent to his managerial responsibilities within Cosmos, Justin will also be taking on the position of Director – Business Development, for Cosmos Sports’ newest client: The Toronto Wolfpack. In this role his responsibilities will focus primarily on the procurement of partnership deals as well as overseeing ticket operations for the team as they head into their inaugural season of play.
